FANTASTIC PRIZE!!!

Peggy Elstob was the backbone of WTC for many decades & sadly passed away in February this year, aged 93. She played tennis until she was 90! She was a true legend!

Peggy was a lovely, gentle lady who could hit a mean tennis ball. She looked after us all at WTC in many ways, including her encouragement of Juniors,& running a sweet shop for them. We have a trophy in her name awarded each year to an outstanding Junior. On Saturday afternoons she always put the kettle on for "tea at 3!" She insisted we all had tea & cake, always baked by her. (Scrumptious!) She also fed us with the best tasting sandwiches ever, fruit pies, pasties etc.
So,we invite you to bake a cake & enter the competition in memory of a very dear lady & help make this a special day. There really will be a great prize for the "Star Baker!"

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

The Tournament Secretary.
