Winter League 2013 / 2014

I've been asked by Carol Cherry, the Winter League organiser, if we want to enter the Winter League again this year.

Would you please message me as soon as possible if you're interested in playing.

The match fees are likely to be around £8 - £9 per person per match to cover the costs of entry, balls, and courts.

Another Indoor season has finished and we have a new name on the Winners Plate – Ilkley.  Congratulations, they won every match, except the one against the previous 3 time winners Chapel Allerton.

The recently promoted teams from Heaton & Tranmere struggled to compete in Division 1 but Wetherby did manage to retain their place.

In Division 2 St Chads bounce straight back to Division 1 and it was a nail biting finish between Beckfoot, Ilkley 2 and the new entrants Wakefield; as to which team would join them.  Eventually Wakefield will have this honour, although rumour has it they do not wish to be promoted!

Wakefield are not taking up the promotion in order to keep this open to as many club players as possible.
